The Florida Health Policy Center is a member of The National Collaborative of State Health Policy Centers (NCSHPC) – a national users’ group working with the National Academy for State Health Policy (NASHP).  The NCSHPC is committed to improving the health, health care and well-being of all persons in this country by bettering state and federal policies and programs. About FHPC

The Florida Health Policy Center is dedicated to providing Florida health policy-makers with access to neutral, objective analysis of health issues and the effective communication of information.

The Florida Health Policy Center is a partnership with shared responsibilities. Each partner provides time, talent and resources and no physical office has been established.  This structure was established to allow time for the center to begin its work without the heavy burden of administrative costs associated with starting and sustaining a new organization.  In this manner, the new center will be a partnership that focuses on health care policy issues at hand, rather than establishing the final form the center will take.
